Digital Process

Analog to digital -- a natural segue

1997

Great friend, artist, and mentor, Ken Botan, guides me through the process of purchasing my first computer.

He was teaching Corel Draw at the time. Encouraging me to head in this direction, he  said my

adapting traditional art skills to digital media was a natural progression.

Being a fan of his incredible artistry – I took his advice.

Digital Dreams - How Do I Get There From Here?

Sharing the dream

In 2008, invited to teach digital art at the annual Hot Art Colony at Tougaloo College, in Jackson, Mississippi, I created Digital Dreams - How Do I Get There From Here?  for the  weeklong indulgence in the visual arts.

Invited back in 2010, I continued with Digital Dreams - The Layers.

Tougaloo College's name is a Choctaw word that means where two streams cross.

In the case of Tougaloo, it's the Pearl River and the Mississippi.
